About Robertas

Robertas Bakula

Robertas Bakula is a writer and speaker focused on the moral defense of business and the analysis of antitrust law. After gaining experience across industry — from retail sales to medical technology — he turned toward an intellectual career, earning a Master's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) in the Czech Republic.

From there, Robertas devoted himself to teaching and advocating for freedom. Following a short tenure at the Lithuanian Free Market Institute in Vilnius — the city where he was born and raised — he moved to the United States to pursue a more ambitious career fighting for individual liberty and business freedom in the country he admired for giving birth to both ideas.

As a research associate at the American Institute for Economic Research, he began writing and running an internship program that helped educate students in the foundational ideas of freedom studies. He later moved on to the Ayn Rand Institute, where he now writes, teaches, and speaks on capitalism, business, and antitrust — building arguments that integrate moral and practical reasoning in defense of individual and business freedom.
